Kaleidoscopus is a Vancouver-based subscription box for the musically curious. It started when our founder hit a wall. After years into his musical journey, the passion had gone quiet. What brought it back was a handful of instruments and objects he had never seen before: things with history, texture, and a completely different way of thinking about sound. Most of them were nearly impossible to find unless you already knew what to look for.

That is the gap we exist to close. Every six months, our team combs through makers, independent shops, and authors, online and off, to assemble a box that feels genuinely surprising. We negotiate exclusive prices and then share our findings with our subscribers. Each box is an custom, exclusive, and fascinating experience that will brings you a child-like excitement, surprise, and novelty which many of us miss.
